2018 – Year In Review
The year 2018 has been a very interesting year for Theatron. Many changes and important decisions were carried out. We keep developing it and just by looking a few months back, we can notice the many improvements that are driving our solution forward. Following, you can find the highlights of last year:
GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation
This new regulation application was a big deal not only for us, but for any company or entity working with the EU. With the increasing digitalization processes, our data needs more protection. In Mansoft, as a service provider company, we care about the data we manage and we want to assure our customers the safety of their data. This year we worked in applying the necessary changes to Theatron in order to comply with this regulation.
Listening to our customers brings new features
If there is something we take very seriously, it is our collaboration with Theatres. We never develop features out of the blue. Despite our gained experience through the years, theatres know their business best and so, we listen to what they have to say. We have an extended list with all the suggestions we gather and those are prioritized according to our customers’ needs. Our set of optional additional features keeps growing as we fulfil our customers’ requests. Thus, theatres can pay only for what they really need and they have always the option to add new features at any moment. Do you want to ask for a demo?
Major update on the interface!
In July we completed one of the biggest changes we have made in Theatron up to this date: a change on the interface and a reformation in the management of the personnel. The aim for this enhancement was to provide an improved user experience and a more agile management of the technical personnel.
New modernized Theatron webpage
We also gave a new look to our webpage! More intuitive, with much more information about Theatron, brief demo videos, FAQ section and in different language versions.
Fairs & events
We attended a couple of interesting theatre fairs in London and Spain. The ABTT Show in June and Mercartes in November. Many engaging discussions and a lot of interest arose amongst the visitors. Moreover, we also held an event for Portuguese theatres in Lisbon.
Entered a new country!
This past year we were so happy to announce our first customer in our neighbour country, Russia. Masterskaya is a rather new theatre, founded in 2010, but it has already been awarded with many prizes. With its state-of-the-art character, it is rated as number one among the theatres in Saint Petersburg according to TripAdvisor.
We are now looking forward to what 2019 will bring!
